Procedure

The preparation was carried out as already described starting from 95 mg (0.25 mmol) of 4-[3-(5,5,8,8-tetramethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl]piperidine hydrochloride and 55 μl (0.38 mmol) of 4-bromobutyl acetate. The protecting group was cleaved off by means of a 1N NaOH solution in methanol. The product was purified by means of preparative HPLC and is in the form of the hydrochloride.
