Procedure
The preparation was carried out as already described starting from 150 mg (0.37 mmol) of 4-[4-(5,8-dimethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl)thiazol-2-yl]-piperidine hydrobromide and 109 μl (0.74 mmol) of 4-bromobutyl acetate. The protecting group was cleaved off by means of a 1N sodium hydroxide solution in methanol. The product was purified by means of preparative HPLC and is in the form of the hydrochloride.
