The title compound is synthesized starting from 632 mg (1.3 mmol) {3-[2-amino-5-(6-amino-pyridin-3-ylethynyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidin-4-yl]-5-trifluoromethyl-phenyl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (A-42) by treatment with a 4 M solution of HCl in dioxane. After completion of the reaction the solvent is removed in vacuo followed by extraction with DCM and a saturated aqueous solution of NaHCO3. Yield: 310 mg (62%).
