Reaction Steps

To a solution of 60 mg (0.080 mmol) 5-(6-amino-pyridin-3-ylethynyl)-2-methanesulfonyl-6-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidin-4-ylamine (B-10) and 15.7 mg (0.42 mmol) sodiumborohydride in 1 mL EtOH is stirred at 80° C. for 60 minutes. The title compound is purified from the crude reaction mixture by RP-HPLC (ACN/H2O gradient). Yield: 1.4 mg (5%).
