Reaction Steps

3.3 g (7.8 mmol) of {1-[2-amino-5-(6-amino-pyridin-3-ylethynyl)-6-methyl-pyrimidin-4-yl]-piperidin-3-yl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester are dissolved in DCM (50 mL) and 26 mL TFA are added. The reaction mixture is stirred over night at RT. The reaction mixture is adjusted to neutral pH using concentrated aqueous Na2CO3 solution and the DCM is evaporated at reduced pressure. The residue is washed with water, taken up in acetonitrile and freeze dried. The crude product is used without further purification in the next step.
