Procedure
A stirring mixture of 4-t-butyl-3-fluorobenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride (prepared from Example 27 step c, 1.1 g, 4.2 mmol) and 1-(8-bromoquinolin-5-yl)-3-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine (0.97 g, 3.2 mmol) in pyridine (5 mL) was heated at 80° C. for 15 h. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo. The crude solid was recrystallized from hot ethanol (5 mL) and the resulting solid was collected by filtration to give the desired compound (0.10 g, 0.19 mmol, 62%).
