A solution of 22 mg of 4-(1-benzyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-2-(2-nitro-5-(piperidin-1-yl)phenyl)pyridine 24c in 1 mL of methanol was treated with 10 mg of Pd/C and stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 1 h. The mixture was filtered through celite and the solvent was evaporated to give 22 mg of product.
