A mixture of 500 mg of N-(3-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl)-2-(5-(diethylamino)-2-nitrophenyl)isonicotinamide, 120 mg of 10% Pd/C, and 30 mL of methanol was stirred for 2 h under a hydrogen atmosphere. The mixture was filtered and concentrated to give 0.42 g of product.
