2,4-dichlorobenzofuro[3,2-d]pyrimidine (61 mg, 0.255 mmol, 1.0 eq) was dissolved in MeOH (2 mL) and morpholine (49.1 mL, 562 μmol, 2.2 eq) was added. The reaction mixture was hated to reflux for 30 minutes and then cooled to room temperature. Solvents were removed in vacuo and the residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (gradient from 100% hexane in EtOAc to 50% hexane) and a colorless solid was obtained (59.4 mg, 80%).
