To a solution of 3-[4-(4-Trifluoromethoxy-phenylamino)-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7-yl]-propionic acid ethyl ester (100 mg, 0.24 mmol) in 5 mL of THF:H2O (3:1)) was added CsCO3 (78 mg, 0.40 mmol). The mixture was heated at 80° C. and stirred for 2 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated and neutralized with acetic acid. The solid was filtered and dried to yield the tile compound as brown solid (67 mg, 77%). MS m/z 367.1 (M+1).
