Procedure

6-(5-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-2-[(2S)-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridin-2-yl]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-one dihydrochloride (350 mg) produced in Example 145, step C, was suspended in ethanol (12 mL), and the mixture was stirred with heating at 90° C. Water (1.6 mL) was added to give a solution, and the solution was allowed to cool to room temperature. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, methanol (8 mL) was added to the residue, and the mixture was stirred with heating at 65° C. Water (0.8 mL) was added, and the mixture was allowed to cool to room temperature. The precipitate was collected by filtration to give the title compound (169 mg) as a white solid.
