Procedure

The title compound was prepared using the procedure described in Example 65(b) starting from 2,2,2-trifluoro-N′-hydroxyacetimidamide (218.7 mmol, 28 g) and ethyl propiolate (262.5 mmol, 25.7 g). Yield 45.2 g. 1H-NMR (400 MHz; DMSO-d6): δ 1.32 (t, 3H), 4.31 (q, 2H), 7.03 (d, 1H), 7.60 (bs, 2H), 8.29 (d, 1H). LC-MS: [M−1]=225.34.
