Reaction Steps
A mixture of 2-(2-methyl-imidazol-1-yl)-pyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid cyclopropyl-piperidin-4-yl-amide (44 mg), 2,3-difluoro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine (22 mg), and ethyldiisopropylamine (35 μL) in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (1 mL) is heated to 200° C. for 0.5 h in a microwave oven. The reaction mixture is concentrated and the crude product is purified by preparative HPLC (MeOH/H2O/ammonia). LC (method 16): tR=1.29 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=490 [M+H]+.
