Reaction Steps
To a suspension of potassium carbonate (0.892 g, 6.46 mmol, 1.10 equiv.) and 2-amino-3,5-dichloro-N-(bis-2-propyl-λ4-sulfanylidene)benzamide (2.05 g, 5.87 mmol) in toluene (30 mL) was added a solution of 2-(3-chloro-2-pyridyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)-pyrazole-3-carbonyl chloride (2.02 g, 5.87 mmol, 1.00 equiv.) in toluene (20 mL) at 60° C. After 45 min at this temperature, the mixture was cooled and water was added.
