A mixture of 163b (80 mg, 0.12 mmol) and NaBH4 (15 mg, 0.36 mmol) in methanol (5 mL) was stirred at 30° C. for 2 h. The mixture was quenched with water and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (3×10 mL). The combined ethyl acetate extract was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by reverse-phase prep-HPLC to afford 163 (30 mg, 50%) as dark red solid. MS-ESI: [M+H]+ 611.4. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CHCl3) δ 8.48 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 1H), 7.96 (d, J=2.5 Hz, 1H), 7.70 (d, J=2, 1H), 7.43 (s, 1H), 7.34 (d, J=5 Hz, 1H), 6.8 (s, 1H), 5.70 (s, 1H), 5.03 (t, J=6, 1H), 4.77-4.73 (m, 3H), 4.68 (t, J=6.5 Hz, 2H), 4.51-4.50 (m, 1H), 4.34-4.33 (m, 1H), 4.23-4.16 (m, 2H), 4.09 (t, J=5.5 Hz, 2H), 3.86-3.85 (m, 1H), 3.79-3.74 (m, 1H), 3.71 (s, 3H), 3.56 (d, J=4, 2H), 2.83 (t, J=5.5 Hz, 2H), 2.58 (d, J=5.5 Hz, 2H), 2.52 (s, 2H), 1.28 (s, 6H).
