Reaction Steps
Beginning with 0.199 gm (1.1 mMol) (S)-(+)-4-(oxiranylmethoxy)-1H-indole and 0.300 gm (1.1 mMol) 4-hydroxy-4-(6-propoxynaphth-2-yl)piperidine, 0.289 gm (60%) of the title compound were recovered as an off-white solid by the procedure described in Example 9.
