The same operation as in Example (95b) was performed using ethyl 5-ethyl-2-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate obtained in Example (99a) (0.57 g, 2 mmol), 10% Pd/C (0.2 g) and methanol (10 mL), to obtain 0.45 g of the title compound as a yellow solid (88%).
