The same operation as in Example (160c) was performed using methyl cis(±)-4-(4-{[(benzyloxy)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-6-methylpyridine-2-carboxylate obtained in Example (168a) (190 mg) and a 10% palladium-carbon catalyst (200 mg), to obtain 129 mg of the title compound as a colorless oily substance. The resulting compound was used for the next reaction without purification.
