Following the procedure as described in Example 8 and making variations as required to replace 5-chloro-2,4-difluoro-N-(methylsulfonyl)benzamide with 5-chloro-N-(N,N-dimethylsulfamoyl)-2,4-difluorobenzamide and adamantan-1-ylmethanol with spiro[3.5]nonan-7-ylmethanol, the title compound was obtained as a colorless solid (0.26 g, 47%): 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.61 (br s, 1H), 8.05 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 6.65 (d, J=13.5 Hz, 1H), 3.82 (d, J=6.3 Hz, 2H), 3.01 (s, 6H), 1.89-1.65 (m, 11H), 1.35-1.04 (m, 4H); MS (ES−) m/z: 431.2, 433.2 (M−1).
