Following the procedure as described in Example 49 and making variation as required to replace 4-((adamantan-2-yloxy)methyl)-5-chloro-2-fluoro-N-(methylsulfonyl)benzamide with 5-chloro-4-((4,4-difluoroadamantan-1-yl)methoxy)-2-fluoro-N-(methylsulfonyl)benzamide, the title compound was obtained as a colorless solid (0.32 g, 86%): 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.69 (br s, 1H), 7.59 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 1H), 6.53 (d, J=14.1 Hz, 1H), 3.59 (s, 2H), 3.39 (s, 3H), 2.28 (br s, 2H), 2.08-1.92 (m, 6H), 1.53-1.51 (m, 6H), 0.97-0.89 (m, 2H), 0.66-0.60 (m, 2H); MS (ES−) m/z: 456.2 (M−1).
