Reaction Steps
The diolefin 18e (0.73 g, 1.34 mmol) was reacted with Hoveyda Grubbs 2nd generation catalyst (100 mg) in DCE (700 ml) according to the procedure described in Example 13 step d. Purification by column chromatography on silica gel gave the title compound, (0.34 g, 49%), (M+H)+517.
