Prepared according to Procedure V by stirring N-(3-morpholino-5-nitrophenyl)-acetamide (0.014 g, 0.051 mmol), 10% palladium on carbon (5.5 mg, 5.13 μmol), and methanol (1 mL) at 23° C. to afford N-(3-amino-5-morpholinophenyl)acetamide as a tan amorphous solid. Mass Spectrum (ESI) m/e=236.1 (M+1).
