PROCEDURE

Compound 10 was synthesized according to the procedure used for the preparation of 9 using 8 (40.0 mg, 0.11 mmol), 2-fluorophenylboronic acid (23.2 mg, 0.11 mmol), PdCl2(PPh3)2 (7.8 mg, 0.011 mmol), LiCl (14.0 mg, 0.33 mmol), 1M Na2CO3 (276 mL), EtOH (0.66 mL) and toluene (0.66 mL) with refluxing for 1 h. Obtained 10 (9.9 mg, 38%) as a white solid; 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3+4 drops d4-MeOH) δ 8.54 (t, J=1.9 Hz, 1H), 8.25 (dd, J=2.0, 1.3 Hz, 1H), 7.89 (s, 1H), 7.46 (dt, J=7.7, 1.8 Hz, 1H), 7.37 (m, 1H), 7.30-7.10 (m, 2H).
