Reaction Steps
The title compound (147 mg, 0.400 mmol, 12.5%) was obtained as light brown crystals from a 4-(4-amino-3-chlorophenoxy)-6-cyano-7-hydroxyquinoline crude product (1.00 g, 3.21 mmol) and (2S)-oxiran-2-ylmethyl 4-methyl-1-benzenesulfonate, by the same procedure as in Example 7.
