To a stirred solution of trans-[4-amino-2-(4-amino-cyclohexylamino)-pyrimidin-5-yl]-(2,3-difluoro-6-methoxy-phenyl)-methanone (64 mg, 0.16 mmol, Example 120) and sodium carbonate (0.49 mmol, 52 mg) in ethanol (3 mL), 1,4-dibromobutane (22 uL, 0.16 mmol, Aldrich) was added and the mixture was stirred at reflux for 3 days. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by reversed phase HPLC to give a white solid. 30 mg, 43%. MS (ES) MH+=432.
