To a solution of tert-butyl 5-amino-2-methylthio-4-(3-(2-bromoacetamido)-phenyl)-quinazoline-6-carboxamide (example 28a, 88 mg) in acetonitrile was added morpholine (148 μl) and the mixture was stirred for 18 h. After this time CH2Cl2 (15 ml) was added and the mixture was washed with sat. aqueous NaHCO3. The organic layer was dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo. The title compound was purified by chromatography on silica gel using CH2Cl2/MeOH=1/0 to 9/1 (v/v) as eluent. The title compound was lyophilized from a mixture of acetonitrile and water containing 1.5 equiv. of HCl.
