Reaction Steps

This compound was prepared following the procedure described in example 4, part E, starting with 0.62 g (2.2 mmol) of 1-furan-3-ylmethyl-3-piperidinyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine and 0.79 g (2.9 mmol) of 5-bromomethyl-2-methoxybenzoic acid ethyl ester. After standard work-up and purification, 0.95 g (91% of yield) of the expected ester were obtained.
