By reacting 2-(4-chloro-2-fluorophenyl)-1,4,5,6-tetrahydrocyclopentapyrazol-3(2H)-one with phosphorous oxychloride according to the procedure of Example 1(d), 3-chloro-2-(4-chloro-2-fluorophenyl)-2,4,5,6-tetrahydrocyclopentapyrazole (m.p. 102°-104° ) was obtained.
