This compound is prepared essentially by the method described in Example 5, Step E, except that the benzyl 7-{2-[3-benzyloxy-4-(4-fluorophenoxy)butyl]-1,1,4-trioxo-3-thiazolidinyl}heptanoate is replaced by benzyl 7-[2-(3-benzyloxy-4-propoxybutyl)-4-oxo-3-thiazolidinyl]heptanoate. This method provides the title compound as a viscous, pale yellow oil.
