Following the method of Example 64, the title compound was prepared from 3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzaldehyde (ALDRICH) and 4-phenyl-1-butanol (Aldrich). M/z calculated for C18H20O3 : 284.1412. Found: 284.1435.
