Reaction Steps
64 mg of the compound from Example 20 (0.11 mol) are dissolved in 3.3 ml of dioxane/water (2:1), mixed with 165 μl of 1 N sodium hydroxide solution and stirred at room temperature overnight. The reaction solution is acidified (pH 2) with 1 N hydrochloric acid and extracted three times with dichloromethane. The combined organic phases are dried over sodium sulphate and concentrated in a rotary evaporator, and the residue is purified by preparative HPLC (eluent: acetonitrile/water with 0.1% formic acid, gradient 20:80→95:5). 61 mg (100% of theory) of the title compound are obtained.
