A mixture of 4-[(3-phenylpyrrolidin-1-yl)carbonyl]-5-(4-iodophenyl)isoxazole (125 mg, 0.28 mmol) and copper(I) cyanide (101 mg, 1.13 mmol) in N-methylpyrrolidinone (5 mL) was stirred 150° C. for 2 h. Some material lost on work-up. The residue was purified on reversed phase HPLC to yield the title compound (5 mg). HRMS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z calcd for C21H17N3O2: 343.1321, found 343.1313.
