The title compound was prepared from 3-Chloro-6-cyclopentyl-4-hydroxy-6-methyl-5,6-dihydro-pyran-2-one (described in Step 2 below) and 5,7-Dimethyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-2-thiol using the coupling method described in Example C(4). 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 1.54 (s, 3H), 1.55-2.32 (br m, 9H), 2.59 (m 1H), 2.64 (s, 3H), 2.71 (s, 3H), 2.96 (m, 1H), 6.77 (s, 1H). ESIMS: MH+ 375.10, MH− 373.10.
