Quantities: compound 13 (10.00 g, 0.039 mol) in anhydrous THF (150 ml), n-butyllithium (17 ml, 2.5M in hexane, 0.0425 mol), trimethyl borate (8.12 g, 0.078 mol) in anhydrous THF (50 ml). The experimental procedure was as described for the preparation of compound 2.
