Procedure

Prepared by hydrogenation of the product of Example 19 with palladium on carbon in ethanol containing 2 eq. NaOH, at 50 psi and 50° C. for 24 h. The catalyst was removed and the product was precipitated by addition of a saturated solution of ammonium chloride. The solids were filtered and washed with water and ethanol to provide the title compound.
