Reaction Steps
A method according to claim 1 wherein α-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester, L-phenylalanine and L-aspartic acid are recovered from solutions formed in the preparation of α-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester using, as raw materials, N-formyl-L-aspartic anhydride and L-phenylalanine methyl ester.
