Reaction Steps

[3-(1-Benzyl-6-chloro-2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yloxy)-phenyl]-methanol (0.092 g, 0.243 mmol) and N,N-diisopropylethylamine (3 μL, 0.486 mmol) were dissolved in DCM at 0° C. Methanesulfonyl chloride (28 μL, 0.365 mmol) was added and the reaction stirred for 5 minutes then sodium cyanide (0.024 g, 0.486 mmol) and DMF (2 mL) were added. The reaction was then concentrated under vacuum and DMF (2 mL) was added. The reaction was heated to 60° C. for 20 minutes then submitted to aqueous workup to give the title compound.
