Procedure

To a solution of phenol 29 (124 mg, 0.320 mmol) in acetone (10 mL) were added propargyl bromide (80 wt % in toluene, 1.7 g, 11.2 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (1.5 g, 11.2 mmol) at room temperature. The mixture was stirred at 50° C. for 20 hours. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and filtered off through celite. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by prep HPLC (C18) to provide the title compound 30 (51 mg, 38%).
