Reaction Steps
4-Fluorobenzenecarbothio-amide (250 mg, 1.61 mmol) and 2-bromo-1-pyridin-2-ylethanone hydrobromide (450 mg, 1.61 mmol) were dissolved in DMF (2 mL), and triethylamine (0.23 mL, 1.61 mmol) was added. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 90 min, and then heated at 50° C. for 30 min. The mixture was diluted with EtOAc. The organic layer was washed with brine, and dried over Na2SO4. The drying agent was filtered off, and the filtrate was concentrated to afford the title compound. LC-MS 257.1 [M+1]+.
