Procedure

Intermediate 4 was coupled to 4-(2-Amino-ethyl)-2-nitro-phenol by procedure F and the resulting product deprotected by procedure G2. LC-MS showed the product had the expected M+H+ of 501. 1H NMR (Varian 300 MHz, CD3OD, shifts relative to the solvent peak at 3.30 ppm) δ 8.4 (s, 1H) 8.3 (d, 1H) 8.2 (d, 1H) 8.0 (s, 1H) 7.8 (d, 1H) 7.6 (m, 3H) 7.0 (m, 1H) 4.5 (s, 2H) 4.0 (m, 2H) 3.4 (m, 2H) 3.0 (m, 5H) 2.8 (m, 2H) 1.8 (m, 2H).
