To a solution of (2R,5R)-4-[2-(6-cyclohex-1-enyl-3,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-pyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridin-1-yl)-2-oxo-ethyl]-5-methoxymethyl-2-methyl-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (see Table 1) (65 mg, 0.13 mmol) in EtOH (5 mL)was added palladium on carbon (10%, 20 mg) and the mixture was hydrogenated for 2 h. The catalyst was filtered and the filtrate evaporated to afford the title compound (60 mg, 92%) as a white solid. MS: [M+H]+=515.
