Procedure
Intermediate 13 was coupled with tyramine following procedure F. LC-MS showed the product had the expected M+H+ of 490. 1H NMR (Varian 300 MHz, CDCl3, shifts relative to the solvent peak at 7.24 ppm) δ 8.5 (d, 2H) 8.4 (s, 1H) 8.3 (d, 1H) 7.9 (m, 4H) 7.4 (d, 2H) 7.3 (m, 1H) 7.1 (d, 2H) 6.9 (d, 1H) 6.7 (d, 1H) 5.6 (m, 1H) 4.4 (d, 4H) 3.7 (m, 2H) 2.9 (m, 5H).
