To (S)-tert-butyl 3-((8-chloro-3-cyanoisoquinolin-1-yl)oxy)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (120 mg, 0.32 mmol) in MeOH (50 mL) was added NH2NH2—H2O (5 mL). The resulting mixture was heated to reflux for 2 hours and then cooled and concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as a yellow solid, which was used without further purification (130.3 mg, 100%). ESI-MS m/z [M+H]+ 406.2.
