(4-Chlorophenyl)(2,4-dichloro-3-phenylquinolin-6-yl)(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-5-yl)methanol (124 mg, 0.251 mmol, Example 65) was treated with dimethylamine (2 M in MeOH, 2 mL, 4 mmol) and the resulting suspension was heated in a sealed tube in an 85° C. oil bath for 2 days. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was purified by flash column chromatography (Biotage NH column, 0-1% MeOH-DCM) to provide the title compound as a cream-colored foam. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.10 (d, J=2.20 Hz, 1H), 7.72 (d, J=8.80 Hz, 1H), 7.43-7.52 (m, 3H), 7.34-7.43 (m, 3H), 7.22-7.34 (m, 6H), 6.33 (s, 1H), 3.36 (s, 3H), 2.72 (s, 6H).
