8 g (17.4 mmol) of Boc-Pro-Gly-Pro-OBzl were dissolved in 100 ml of methanol, 0.5 ml of CH3COOH and palladium black were added, while stirring on a magnetic stirrer, and hydrogen was passed through for 2 hours. The solution was filtered, evaporated, evaporated 3 times with benzene and 2 times with ethyl acetate. Then, it was precipitated with ether hexane from acetone, and the precipitate formed in the flask was dried in a desiccator over P2O5/KOH and paraffin.
