Procedure

The product from Step 1 (104 mg, 0.18 mmol) was combined with 10% Pd/C (20 mg) in MeOH (3 mL). The mixture stirred under H2 (1 atm) for 2 h. The mixture was filtered over a 5 μm frit. The filtrate was concentrated, suspended in CH3CN. The solid was collected and dried to provide the title compound as a tan powder (26 mg, 56%).
