To a stirred solution of tert-butyl N-[(1S)-2-[[(3S)-5-[(6-bromo-2-methoxy-1-naphthyl)methyl]-1-[3-[(3S)-5-[(6-bromo-2-methoxy-1-naphthyl)methyl]-3-[[(2S)-2-[tert-butoxycarbonyl(methyl)amino]propanoyl]amino]-4-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzodiazepine-1-carbonyl]benzoyl]-4-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1,5-benzodiazepin-3-yl]amino]-1-methyl-2-oxo-ethyl]-N-methyl-carbamate (15 mg, 0.01 mmol) in dioxane (0.2 mL) at 0° C. was added 4 N HCl in dioxane (0.2 mL), the cooling bath was removed and the mixture was stirred at RT. After 2 h, the mixture was evaporated to provide the title compound (8 mg, 58.9%) as an off white solid. LC-MS: 1153.6 (M+H).
