Reaction Steps
Prepared in 59% yield from 2-bromo-4,5-dimethylphenol following the same procedure as (S)-1-bromo-4-fluoro-2-(pent-4-en-2-yloxy)benzene. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.30 (s, 1H), 6.73 (s, 1H), 5.92 (ddt, J=17.2, 10.1, 7.1 Hz, 1H), 5.19-5.09 (m, 2H), 4.44-4.33 (m, 1H), 2.59-2.49 (m, 1H), 2.45-2.37 (m, 1H), 2.21 (s, 3H), 2.18 (s, 3H), 1.34 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 3H).
