Reaction Steps

To a solution of Example 17 (0.050 g, 0.1192 mmoles) in THF (2 ml), was added hydrochloric acid in diethyl ether (2 ml) at 0° C. and stirred for 30 min. The precipitate formed was filtered, washed with pentane and dried to afford the title compound as yellow solid (0.030 g, 55% yield. MP: 232-236° C. 1H-NMR (δ ppm, DMSO-D6, 400 MHz): δ 8.13 (d, J=2.3 Hz, 1H), 8.06 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 1H), 7.80 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 1H), 7.38 (m, 4H), 4.24 (br s, 2H), 3.83 (br s, 4H), 3.62 (br s, 2H), 3.08 (br s, 2H). Mass: 419.75 (M+1-HCl).
