To a solution of O-(1-(1-benzyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) O-phenyl carbonothioate (compound 314.4, 1.34 g, 3.30 mmol) in toluene (20 mL) was added Bn3SnH (3.84 mL, 13.2 mmol), AIBN (320 mg, 1.95 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred for 1 h at 80° C. under nitrogen, then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography with ethyl acetate/petroleum ether (1:20) as the eluent to furnish 650 mg (78%) of the title compound as a colorless oil.
